Peter Cincotti
Live in New York Video SuperDisc
(and Bonus Studio Album: From The Moon)
Monster Music is proud to present the undeniable and unique talent of singer-songwriter-pianist Peter Cincotti. USA Today has proclaimed Cincotti "prodigiously gifted." The New York Times declared Peter "one of the most promising singer-pianists of the next generation". This performance was filmed in high definition over the course of two days on a hot New York City street and a nearby rooftop. Peter and his band perform 14 songs including hits from Peter's critically acclaimed, self titled debut, as well as fan favorites from his second album, On The Moon. Monster Music has audiophile mastered each track so you can hear what the recording engineers hear in the studio. Through any home theater system, you will hear every detail of the artist's incomparable musical talents. This collection also contains high definition digital music files ready to download onto any computer.
Additionally, this video SuperDisc includes Cincotti's latest studio album, On The Moon. Released in September 2004, This was a highly anticipated second CD from the 22-year-old pop/jazz singer and pianist. Reunited with 12-time Grammy winner Phil Ramone, who produced Cincotti's chart topping debut album, the singer/pianist puts a contemporary, and infectious twist on such pop and jazz standards as I Love Paris, St. Louis Blues and Some Kind of Wonderful. Cincotti also demonstrates his talents as composer and arranger on this album. Whether it is one of his own compositions like On The Moon or the fresh and original spin he gives to Rodgers and Hammerstein's Bali Ha'i, Peter's distinct musical talent resonates throughout this recording.
